Passion

Everyone has a purpose. Sometimes more than one. Sometimes we call this passion. But it's been interesting lately when talking to people about their passion, they reveal all sorts of wonderful things. Many folks know their passion, know that they want to pursue some dream but they don't know how or when.

Every decade of life is different. Different demands. Different responsibilities. What younger folks don't know is that life changes. Those demands and responsibilities change and time actually becomes more and more your own. Even when time doesn't feel like our own, we can take a little time every day (put the kids to bed 30 minutes early or get up 30 minutes before them and claim that time as your own!) to pursue the things we really love so when life changes, we're already in the habit of using time for the things we love. It just grows!

Discovering one's passion is not that difficult. Our hearts already know the things we need. We just have to give ourselves permission to admit those things, write them out and do at least one small thing every day that moves us closer to pursuing those things.

The only way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time. Silly idea but true. Start today!
